ABOUT AMY

Hello and welcome! Amy here (she/her). I have known since the age of 16 that this was the work I wanted to do.

I value curiosity, authenticity, and compassion to create a space where learning, healing and growing occurs. My goal is to support my clients as we have some challenging conversations to work toward increased understanding into themselves, accountability for their role in situations, rewriting parts of that non-stop inner monologue, strengthening their [external] voice, and ultimately improving their overall quality of life to feel less stressed and more at peace.

I’m a big fan of discussing concrete tools and in providing resources. I enjoy reading mental health related books, walking, a good meme, puppy cuddles, and meditating (slightly less enjoyable but the benefits are real!). Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but the work happens virtually these days. The most important part, and often a very challenging part, of the work is finding the right therapist-client pair.
