INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST

ANXIETY & OCD | CODEPENDENCY | WOMEN’S ISSUES & MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH

It’s time to work through what keeps us stuck in unhealthy patterns in relationships, friendships, and jobs. We must shift from constant self-criticism to curiosity. With more self-awareness and a strengthened voice, we will work on quieting the never-ending stream of thoughts, increasing self-trust, setting and maintaining boundaries, shifting from surviving to thriving, and a whole lot more! If you’re reading this with your head nodding along, I invite you to check out the Specialities page & FAQ page to learn more.

So, what is this work?

It’s with those struggling with feeling overwhelmed, overworked and over-stressed;

  • with a pattern of over-extending themselves and with caring for others even at their own expense;

  • with a desire for perfectionism and “ultra-independence”;

  • with difficulty saying no or asking for help;

  • with a constant stream of worrying or planning;

  • with struggling to find or maintain healthy partnerships or friendships;

  • and those in need of a little extra support navigating difficult transitions like job change, relationships ending or beginning, and parenthood.

Anything else about this work?

I’m a big fan of discussing concrete tools and in providing resources. I enjoy reading mental health related books, walking, a good meme, puppy cuddles, and meditating (slightly less enjoyable but the benefits are real!). Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but the work happens virtually these days. The most important part, and often a very challenging part, of the work is finding the right therapist-client pair.

So how does the work start? If anything here resonates, I hope you will consider reaching out. Check out the FAQ page for more information on the work and the Contact page for information on scheduling a free consultation.
